OctoStrange awakes on a distant shore, something isn't right... they should be dead. They remember the fall, the endless wait to the bottom and then nothing, absolute nothing. Now on the shores of a beach, children poke and prod at Octo, believing it to be dead. A voice calls out "wake up! wake up!"
Octo rises to its tentacles, the children scatter in all directions. Things have changed and something isn't right indeed. Another time slip has happened. Octostrange finds themselves on the shores of India, the year 1937. How?! Why? exposed and disoriented, they slip back in the ocean and begin following the coast. Octo needs cover, a place to blend in as they figure out what has happened. Using their camouflage they take up work at a local harbor. After sometime, men attack Octo at the docks. Octo makes short work of the mercenaries. But is injured in the surprise attack . With their cover blown, they escape into the water and begin making their way up a river passage. Eventually they find themselves in the heart of the Ganges. Feeling the warm embrace of the river and its people, Octo relaxes and contemplates. Their seems to be unseen forces pulling the strings. Reality seems plastic, or made of fabric. As if they could just reach through and rip the veil, see the other side. But its just out of reach, like a dream, and when you wake, you are not sure if you have just fallen asleep.
There are enemies hot on Octos trail. The stench of colonialism is everywhere. Or is that just pewp? What does the future hold for OctoStrange? haven't they already been there? Will they ever get the lead role in Bollywood? Do the times change? or just change us? Find out on this episode of OctoStrange!
